Why hire me?
Because I'm hungry for more than the tech status quo.
Give me a gnarly UX problem, and I'll solve it—or find the people and resources to get it done. After living abroad and 5+ years working on startup-like teams, I'm as resourceful and curious as ever. From research and editing to admissions consulting to edtech, I continue to evolve how I synthesize ideas, write for understanding, and solve problems.I live, I learn, I transform.I've served users and clients, and I've innovated products and streamlined workflows. As AI reshapes what it means to design, I'm ready to level up again—while committed to conscious, ethical tech. What I seek is a vibrant, inclusive workplace where my practical skills and principled idealism will be celebrated. What's next? Something brave: thought-provoking, mission-driven work that creates real change for everyday people—not just for profit. Let's build with intention. Let's make things that matter.
Skills and strengths
I design digital experiences that bring value to humans and businesses alike.
Find me at the intersection of UX design, content strategy, and copy.
Human centered🌎
I strive to center real people in every solution to design intuitive experiences that build trust, empower users, and drive meaningful action. When users succeed and thrive, business outcomes quickly follow.
Results focused🧪
I deeply analyze the problem by digging into research, bridging gaps, and synthesizing knowledge. My madness is all method: I ask questions, collaborate, experiment, and pause for wonder. I confront complexity with creative yet strategic thinking to find viable solutions.
Detail oriented🔎
I'm freakishly good at pattern recognition and notice the small stuff—whether it's UX inconsistencies or typos buried in copy decks. I bring thoughtful organization to complex or ambiguous problem spaces while considering how every detail shapes the overall experience.
Systems driven🛠️
I contribute to scalable systems that align user needs with business sustainability. From more efficient frameworks to process improvements, I discover better ways to deliver value—to users, to teams, and to the market.

About this site
An opinionated portfolio
Anyone who's made a portfolio knows the pain of decision paralysis. I myself went from Format to Squarespace to Notion (sort of) and back to Squarespace again. There are too many ways to website, so this is me finally having an opinion and sticking with it: Personal websites don't have to be complex to show your depth. Say more with less. They need to: (1) make it clear what you do, (2) prove you can do those things well, and (3) show your values and a bit of personality.
With that said...
asherdoescontent.design👽 is a lightweight one-pager that links out to work examples in Notion and Google Slides. It carries the ghosts of portfolios past: an affinity for aliens, minimalistic design, and a commitment to clarity and intention.Let me know if you find any errors—and thanks for visiting🛸
